A technical data sheet compresses the factory, the lab and the loading dock into one page. Reading it in order turns a quote comparison from price shopping into specification shopping.

Surf SandThe lines that matter
Sizes and thickness decide the install trade. Water absorption and breaking load decide indoor versus covered-outdoor use. Slip rating decides wet areas. Shade variation (V rating) decides how lively the installed floor will look.
Packing, pallets and container figures decide freight. A 20GP carries about 920 cartons of 600x600. If a quote omits these, the freight surprise arrives later.

Read the TDS the way you read the price. The cheap series with the wrong rating is the expensive one.
