Digital glaze

Inkjet-printed surface decoration that gives porcelain the veining and texture of natural stone.

Digital glaze applies ceramic inks through inkjet heads before firing, printing the vein patterns, sediment layers and surface variation of natural stone directly onto the tile body.

Because the pattern is printed in register across a programme, walls and floors from the same series coordinate exactly, which real stone cannot guarantee between batches.

The print sits under the surface wear layer, so pattern depth survives PEI IV traffic. Matt, polished and structured finishes can carry the same printed design.
