Mineral powder pressed and fired to near-zero porosity, produced in slab formats up to 1600x3200mm.
Sintered stone is made from natural mineral powders compacted under extreme pressure and fired at high temperature. The result has water absorption close to zero, high breaking strength and full UV stability.
The slab format is the point: surfaces up to 1600x3200mm install with almost no joints, which is why the material dominates full-height walls, kitchen islands, reception desks and facade cladding.
Compared with large-format porcelain tile, sintered stone targets continuity applications and needs trained fabricators with suction frames and a cutting plan. The 6mm, 12mm and 20mm thicknesses map to walls, furniture and heavy-duty tops respectively.
